I am not usually posting consumeristic stuff but this is what happens when my Man buys a new Iphone and I am left with the two apple stickers!
He approved it, by the way, and the pic says why it is TWIN blog

PS: If you feel offended by a natural part of human body it is not my problem. This pic is a simple proof that I can do silly too.

Time for a cup of tea

People say they speak in my name everyday but somehow when they do they don’t verify the facts before mentioning me.
I am not on 24/7 call.

So how about doing your leg work before bothering me?
Sod off now.

yours sincerely

Professionals of the world unite

Social Posted on Mon, July 27, 2015 17:43:19

Social media are packed with words that are constantly abused on a daily basis. the word ‘ONLY’ is constantly abused on sales catalogues near the word PRICE, the word ‘HONEST’ is actually raped by politicians every single day, but when it comes to the music scene (or what it’s supposed to be), somehow the word PROFESSIONAL gets totally gang banged.

A professional is someone who makes out a living of his profession. This means that if you are a musician, you need doing nothing else other than music to pay your bills. Most bands, even rather recognisable names are Semi-pro, which means make a earning with music but still hang to this and that as well, to make a living. That is normal.
I am honestly a semi-pro, and I am very happy with it. It means I make the music I like, as a solo or with the bands I am in (THE DANSE SOCIETY, BLOODING MASK) and whichever collaboration I am involved with and rather than having a limo I have to drive my own car, which is a Prius so it’s not too bad smiley

But what about the totally non professionals that call themselves as professionals?
That are the fakes I am talking about.
A few examples:
People that beg friends to let them play for free, are totally maintained by their wife, or sister, or friend, or parents, whatever, they play occasional gigs with improvised musicians and then call themselves PROFESSIONAL. Well…
People who pay 25 quid to start a limited company (Ltd) with a name they fancy, register a trademark with a logo they fancy, regardless who did what with it before, and call themselves PROFESSIONAL…
Hang on, the best one I have read is someone arguing against a band after he resigned, claiming that he had to hire professional musicians so that he can get the band name and carry on as the band. in other words, I leave my ex partner BOB, hire a jigolo and pay 25 quid to start BOB Ltd and therefore I AM BOB’S GIRLFRIEND.

I don’t suppose BOB would put a like on that smiley

How about sticking to the simple facts? These are hard times for everyone. I would spit myself in the mirror rather than try to get somebody else’s work and claim it as mine. I would rather retire than pretend I have been the singer of a band I had nothing to do with, especially if they are still going.
Rawlings wasn’t replaced, he retired voluntarily, and I would have never taken his place if this happened the day before. I joined in more than a year after he disappeared.
This doesn’t make me a saint, and doesn’t make me great. It makes me honest, and the fact that I am not a politician means my honesty reference is clean and chlamydia free.

Some people should get down from their pulpit and realise that team work is team work and that being a semi-pro is not a shame but something to be proud of.

Having a glass of wine to all my semi-professional friends, and even to the fake professionals, as they make our life more entertaining by making themselves ever so ridiculous. I’ll put a bandage on my mouth for the moment, as I prefer to use my voice for the new songs I am writing, yay smiley
Prosit, cheers

Where am I now?

I have decided to welcome the suggestion of a few friends and open a blog to attach to my website, because Facebook is losing far too much credibility and reliability.
The fact that they don’t seem to ditch trolls, clones, clowns and impersonators makes it rather useless, so here we go, let’s see how practical it is to have a blog.

I have finally started passing infos to update my website and with horror I realised it has been a long time since I did it! There’s so much going on at the moment, ‘VI’ the new album with THE DANSE SOCIETY out next month, new social activism projects I am working on, plus the fact that I want to start mentoring new artists on a musical level, are keeping me rather busy and …. ok ok I admit it, I have just been on holiday in Crete!

One little thing to say about Crete, it’s true HEAVEN! Not that I don’t like Scarborough, in fact I am not missing mosquitoes or the excessive temperature, but I enjoyed the place, the people and the excellent food. Of course my suitcase was full of honey pots, Minotaur’s blood (red wine) and new high heels!

Bloggity blog blog…
is it a prince or is it a frog?
